1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by First National Services Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to our customers (“Client”, “you”, or “your”).

By requesting, accepting, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Services Provided

First National Services Ltd provides a range of property and facilities management services which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Building maintenance and repairs

  • Plumbing services

  • Drainage services

  • Landscaping and grounds maintenance

  • Cleaning services

  • Property and facilities management

  • Project management for construction and maintenance works

  • Commercial and residential property services

The exact scope of services will be outlined in the quotation, service agreement, or work order provided to the Client.

4. Quotations and Estimates

All quotations provided by the Company are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotations are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to adjustment if:

  • Additional work becomes necessary

  • Site conditions differ from those expected

  • The Client requests changes to the agreed scope of work

Any additional work may incur additional charges.

5. Booking and Acceptance

A contract between the Company and the Client is formed when:

  • A written quotation is accepted, or

  • The Client instructs the Company to proceed with work, or

  • Work begins at the Client’s request.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information regarding the work required

  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to the property or site

  • Obtain any necessary permissions or approvals required for the work

  • Ensure that utilities (water, electricity etc.) are available where required

  • Inform the Company of any known hazards on the property

The Company reserves the right to suspend work if unsafe conditions are present.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices will be stated in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise specified.

Payment terms may include:

  • Payment upon completion

  • Staged payments for larger projects

  • Deposits for certain services

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

The Company may suspend services if payments are overdue.

8. Changes to Work

If the Client requests changes to the agreed work:

  • The Company will confirm any cost or schedule changes

  • Additional work will only proceed once agreed by both parties

9. Completion Times

Completion dates provided by the Company are estimates only.

While we aim to meet agreed schedules, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Supplier delays

  • Site access issues

  • Unforeseen structural or property issues

10. Health and Safety

The Company complies with relevant UK health and safety regulations.

Clients must ensure that the work environment is safe and free from hazards. If unsafe conditions are identified, the Company reserves the right to stop work until the issue is resolved.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

12. Damage to Property

The Company will take reasonable care when carrying out work.

However, the Client acknowledges that certain services (such as drainage works, excavation, or structural repairs) may involve unavoidable disruption or damage as part of the work required.

Any concerns must be reported within 7 days of completion.

13. Guarantees and Workmanship

Where applicable, the Company will rectify any defects arising from workmanship reported within a reasonable period after completion.

This does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse or third parties

  • Issues arising from existing defects in the property

14. Cancellation

Clients may cancel scheduled services by providing reasonable notice.

If cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered or work has commenced, the Client may be liable for:

  • Materials purchased

  • Labour costs incurred

  • Any associated expenses

15. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure results from events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Industrial disputes

  • Supply chain disruptions

16. Privacy

Personal information collected by the Company is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

19. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
